Energy expert
From March 29 to 31, Henkel is presenting its innovative solutions with clear benefits for composite customers at the JEC Composite Europe 2011 trade show in Paris. Along with demonstrating the advantages of the products, Henkel representatives will exchange their expertise and experiences with other professionals.
Development of new materials with their wide-ranging application potential poses major challenges for modern bonding technology. In production, adhesive technology enables optimum use of specific material properties and implementation of new construction methods such as lightweight construction. Use of structural adhesives has also become essential to the widely used mixed construction method as well as the application of all kinds of metal, synthetic and fiber composite materials. As the world’s leading manufacturer of adhesives and sealants, Henkel provides a general-purpose selection of structural adhesives for all kinds of industrial applications.
Structural bonding for demanding requirements
Structural bonding has become an integral part of today’s industrial production processes. Whether in engineering, white goods, the marine industry or renewable energies, adhesives are increasingly used to replace traditional fastening methods such as riveting or welding. This is because structural adhesives offer significant advantages compared to traditional fastening methods: They increase the durability and reliability and therefore also the sustainability of products. This creates previously unexpected possibilities. Henkel provides a wide range of structural adhesives in five core adhesive technologies: epoxies, acrylics, polyurethanes, silane modified polymers and silicones. With this portfolio, Henkel offers the best solution for almost every application and every combination of substrates.
Semi-permanent mold release technology
Frekote mold release agents, backed by over 40 years of research and development, are the global industry standard for performance, quality and value. A comprehensive range of Frekote release agents is formulated to provide the maximum number of releases for composite systems including epoxies, polyester, vinyl ester and polyurethane. Frekote continues to focus on innovation and is proud to be demonstrating a new mold sealer at the JEC 2011: Frekote CS-122 stands out due to its low odor and fast curing time. In addition, with Frekote CS-122 and our specialized release agents, parts release cleanly and receive high gloss. At the demonstration area, customers can view the mold release application process from preparation, cleaning and sealing, to applying the release agent. Best practice, hints and tips as well as trouble shooting will be highlighted during the different application phases.
One source for all needs
In the field of engineering solutions for the wind industry, Henkel will present efficient solutions with a 360-degree approach at the JEC 2011. Henkel’s high quality tailor-made adhesives, sealants and surface treatments improve quality, enhance processes and increase production speed, and thus decrease manufacturing costs. The innovative Henkel solutions for structural adhesives, sealants, metalworking products, mold release, cleaners, butyl tapes and sealants, engineering adhesives and surface treatments have an excellent reputation worldwide.
Henkel’s booth (R45, H1) at the JEC 2011 provides visitors with more information on state-of-the art mold release agents, structural bonding capabilities, as well as solutions for the wind industry.
